Pharos Express

DMX and DALI lighting control for architectural lighting

Pharos Express is a control system for dynamic architectural lighting, with DMX and DALI. You group the lighting by space, build scenes with static light or built-in dynamic effects and let them play automatically, including at sunrise and sunset. Control it from wall touchscreens, the free app or remotely through Pharos Cloud. Skidson designs, programs and installs the system, in house or together with a certified Pharos partner, so you get the most out of everything it can do.

How it works

    Choose your controller

    Express Control in 1, 2, 4 or 6 universes, with DMX, DALI and Ethernet protocols. Expand with RIO D4 or RIO G4 when you need more lines.

    Program per space

    With the free Express software for Windows and macOS you group the lighting by space and build scenes and schedules.

    Control it your way

    From Express Touch wall panels, the free iOS and Android app, or remotely with Pharos Cloud (subscription).

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with my existing DALI installation?

Yes. Express controls DALI lighting: up to 64 devices on the built-in DALI port, and more with the RIO D4 expansion (4 DALI ports).

Can I control the lighting remotely?

Yes, through Pharos Cloud, which works with a subscription. You can control the lighting, change the programming and check the status over any internet connection. Each Express Control comes with a 3 month free trial.

Do I need a wall panel?

No. The free Express Touch app for iOS and Android works too, over local Wi-Fi.

Can it switch at set times?

Yes. The built-in clock runs scenes on a schedule, including at sunrise and sunset.
